During the times when Central Park is blocked for cars -- weekends and non-peak traffic times -- run in the bike lanes and leave the car lanes to the bikes. Otherwise, run in the inside halves of the recreation lanes. On bridal paths, horses have the right-of-way. On the streets, you just have to use common sense. Busy streets aren't meant for runners out in traffic: stay to sidewalks. But on quiet streets, there should be no problem. I've been...What is the running etiquette there? I've been in NY a couple of times for work. Last time it was from The Roger to Madison Square Park and just ran around and around... looking for more straight out and back or loop. Can i even run on the sidewalk? What about the road?
